ABOUT

Ann Evans Watson is an Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she teaches voice, as well as working with the jazz and classical students. She is also a grateful member of Actor’s Equity Association, NATS and PAVA. As a multi-hypenate artist who is a director/choreographer as well as actor and educator, Ann has taught master classes for singing actors across the U.S. and Canada and has been a master teacher/lecturer and cabaret artist for NATS, PAVA/VASTA, and the NW Voice and Science Conference. Her students can be seen in leads on Broadway and the National Tours of Hamilton, Almost Famous, Harry Potter, The Lion King, Back to the Future, Les Mis, Jagged Little Pill, MJ the Musical, and Hadestown. She also served as a vocal coach Netflix film of The Prom.
