Ann has worked coast to coast as an Actor, Director and Choreographer. From NYC at Circle in the Square, Lincoln Center, and the Cherry Lane Theatre, to many theatres up and down the West Coast, and some in the middle! As a director/choreographer, some of her favorites are Beauty & the Beast, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Music Man (three times!), Quilters, and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds. She has directed/created adaptations of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as Peter Pan and a musical called Giants for ACT in Ridgefield, CT. As an actor, her favorite roles as an actor include Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Nettie in Carousel, Kate in Taming of the Shrew, and Mother in A New Brain. She has recorded two albums, Chamber Music and Crossword, with her son, music director Evan Zavada.
